Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and a part of SSC's Board of Directors from 2011 she was one of the original co-artistic directors of Speech of Fire. She also served as a member of the SSC as the producer, costume/set design composer/music director and as a text coach and as the Artistic Director. The last year of her tenure, she was a director and lighting designer for SSC's King Lear. She had been directing from the group, but last year made her directorial debut.
